Shanghai Huijue Attends the "Third Working Meeting on Design Standards for Intelligent Microgrids in Buildings
On June 14, the “Third Working Meeting on Design Standards for Intelligent Microgrids in Buildings,” hosted by the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency, was successfully held at the Northwest Institute of Architectural Design and Research of China Architecture Design Group. The meeting aimed to advance the drafting of design standards for intelligent microgrids in buildings, ensuring the quality and practicality of these standards to support the national “dual carbon” development strategy.
Wang Xin, Technical Director of Shanghai Huijue Network Communication Equipment Co., Ltd., represented the company at the meeting in Xi’an. Representatives from more than ten other organizations and enterprises, including the Low Carbon Institute of China Construction Research Institute Technology Co., Ltd., the Technology Development Department of the Northwest Institute of Architectural Design and Research, the Electrical Professional Committee, Beijing Zidian Jiekong Electrical Co., Ltd., and the Institute of Electrical Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, also attended the meeting. The event was held both online and offline.
The meeting began with a speech by Zhao Yang, Deputy General Manager of the Technology Development Department of the Northwest Institute of Architectural Design and Research, who emphasized that energy consumption in buildings is significant and that the transition to new energy is crucial for the development of green buildings. Li Haijun, Senior Engineer at China Construction Research Institute Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the progress of the “standards” and the key discussion points for this meeting. “Intelligent microgrids, combined with building energy storage and demand-side load characteristics, can promote energy transition and green development,” he said.
Wang Xin from Shanghai Huijue discussed the draft of the “standards” and provided valuable suggestions. He also discussed how to strengthen coordination with other industry standards and specific measures for the implementation of the standards. Shanghai Huijue actively promotes the development of intelligent microgrid technology in buildings. In 2020, the company launched the “Zhihui Butler” – an integrated smart building MEP solution. This solution utilizes IoT, cloud computing, and big data technologies to achieve energy saving and consumption reduction in building MEP systems (with a comprehensive energy saving rate of 20% – 40%). Huijue is dedicated to developing and applying advanced new energy technologies, optimizing energy management systems, and achieving efficient and sustainable building energy utilization.
During the meeting, the representatives unanimously decided to hold the fourth seminar in July at Shanghai Huijue. With a core philosophy of supporting the national green and low-carbon development strategy, Huijue is actively committed to the development of intelligent microgrid engineering technology. Hosting this seminar further demonstrates Huijue’s firm commitment to promoting green and low-carbon development.
In conclusion, Liu Lu, a representative of the host organization, stated that clean, electrified, and intelligent building energy use is a key trend for future development. Intelligent microgrids in buildings have immense potential and value. The drafting team will ensure the standards are advanced, operable, and practical, and will strengthen cooperation with other industry organizations and enterprises to jointly promote the development and application of intelligent microgrid technology. After the meeting, all attendees visited the Academician Hall of the Northwest Institute of Architectural Design and Research.
